At SKINCVRE.com we offer full range of cosmelan® products.
Color & texture variations
The color of both cosmelan® mask and cream may vary from taupe to rusty brown depending on the manufacturing batch.
“The formula is very complex and, even following the guidelines of a pharmaceutical company, sometimes there are color changes between batches. All batches have been checked by mesoestetic® quality department. The color change does not affect its efficacy or activity level.”

Skin reaction
According to mesoestetic® authorized distributor in US:
“After the 1st step with the cosmelan 1 mask you may experience some redness, irritation, flakiness, and sensitivity, these reactions do not happen to everyone because of the skin condition. Keep in mind that having an inflammatory response does not guarantee a successful treatment, what it does is following the in-office and homecare protocol.”
It means that:
- if your skin reacts to cosmelan® 1 mask (becomes red or swollen) – that’s OK.
- if your skin does not react to cosmelan® 1 mask in the form of inflammation – that’s OK TOO. The cosmelan® 1 mask preps your skin before the application of depigmenting cosmelan® 2 cream that is responsible for peeling part. It is essential to complete all steps to achieve results.
- if your skin reacted to cosmelan® 1 mask a year ago but did not react now (or vice versa) – that’s OK TOO. It all depends on your current skin condition.
Can I skip Step 1 and start with cosmelan® 2 cream?
No. Even if you’ve already been treated previously, you won’t get the same results by not being first treated with the cosmelan® Step 1 mask, then using the other products. While the Step 2 initiates the peeling portion, you won’t have the necessary foundation for it to work properly.
